Lukas Nelson didn’t let the pandemic and its lockdown stop him from making music. First, he did a series of Quarantunes videos, sometimes with his brother Micah (and occasionally their dad). And then he eventually teamed up with his Promise of the Real bandmates to record new material, which arrived to plenty of critical acclaim as A Few Stars Apart this past June. Out on the road and in rollicking mid-tour form, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real wowed an adoring crowd at Brooklyn Steel on Monday night.
